Historic villa designed by the famous Arch. Federico Frigerio between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. The villa features architectural elements of the medieval era that reflect architectural patterns of some ancient and famous buil-dings of Como. For the time being, the villa is divided into two spacious independent apartments for a total of about 1,200 square meters.
The first apartment, located between the ground floor and the first floor, is connected to another independent apartment dedicated to the service staff. The second apartment is located on the second floor and is connected to an independent apartment in the attic and to multiple spacious rooms on the ground floor used as cellars.
The apartment on the first floor is characterized by a monumental fireplace in the kit-chen, an original wooden coffered ceiling decorated in the living room and in most of the rooms the original floor (wooden or stone) has been preserved. The ceiling of the apartment on the second floor is almost entirely wooden coffered and some of the ori-ginal floors has been preserved.
The whole villa is equipped with original internal and external fixtures in larch and chestnut wood with double insulating glass while the original dampers are in wrought iron.
The villa is embellished by numerous artifacts in stone and granite of considerable va-lue. Inside the courtyard there is a rustic stone building, currently used as a woodshed and closet, that could be renovated and used as apartment for the house keeper.
The beautiful 4,000 square meters park features a panoramic view of the lake, it is con-nected to the villa by a beautiful stone staircase and it is planted with trees and monu-mental essences that are more than centenary.
The villa has parking space for about 10/11 cars.
The villa is connected to the beautiful and ancient village of Faggeto Lario by a charac-teristic pedestrian entrance.
